Buffalo's top technology professionals, recognized in front of hundreds.
Station 28 had the pleasure of being among some of Buffalo’s best and brightest yesterday at the 2017 BETAS. The BETAS (Buffalo Emerging Technology Awards Showcase) recognize and celebrate WNY's organizations and individuals that set the standard for technological innovation and implementation, workplace culture, and industry activism.
Among those that were nominated, our sister company Field Nimble was up for Best Mobile App (right), with their CTO (Nick Gianadda) being a finalist for the coveted Technology Leader of the Year. As the night commenced and the award plaques were handed out for the first round, Field Nimble lost the Best Mobile App to the well deserving team at ACV Auctions.
The last award of the night to be given was Technology Leader of the Year. This award is given to a business information technology professional responsible for an IT department within small or large enterprises.
Up against Nick for the award was Adam Stotz (Trove), Sam Marrazzo (Superior Group), Navpreet Jatana (Blue Cross BlueShield) and Brian Lehman (EmergenceTek Group Inc.), all being very well known in Buffalo’s tech community. But the envelope read only one name, Nick Gianadda.
